I've only had it for three weeks but I think I'm done with the game. Restarting 90% of your runs on the 1st or 2nd stage isn't much fun and I still don't understand all the nuances of zesshikai. Crap replay available on the leaderboards (via 360 >> Monthly)

OMAKE!

TVR - 1,110,619,088 - Tateha - ALL

No Tateha score yet so why not. I can't believe how many "wtf?" scoring systems Cave managed to cram onto a single disc.

360 Mode
Sapz - 156,883,444 - ALL - Ageha

Been working on the ALL for a while now, finally got it today. Admittedly over half of that score is the clear bonus; got to start work on scoring for real next. :) I'm pretty terrible at Zetsushikai at the minute, but hopefully that'll change after some practice.

Damn, nice. I'd be too afraid to try for a clear with anything but Asagi :P

It would probably be harder with Asagi due to her weak fire.

Anyway, amazing job, Sapz! This seems to be the hardest clear you have done yet.

lol, until you get to the last two stages and hold down A ^_~

Especially the last boss. Kakusei + A button = the boss dies before bullets even get to the bottom of the screen :P

Thanks for the congrats! Yeah, I think it's probably the hardest so far too, edges out the DOJ/Ketsui 1-ALLs with that last boss and how long the game in general is.

As for Ageha, forward focus is pretty much just what I'm used to, so I went with that. The stages seemed less difficult than the bosses to me anyway (all five deaths were on bosses in the 1cc), so the extra power went to good use. :P I'll make sure to give that Asagi thing with the last boss a try though, haha. A recording of the run should be up on the 'tubes by tomorrow.

EDIT: Done. Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4.

I normally don't like to post a score until I can 1CC the game, but I did a lot better today than I usually do so I'm kinda excited!

Think I finally somewhat get how BL works, too bad DFK is out now. I'll have to come back to this another time. Thanks for the replay Sapz.

Wow nice score, with the clear you'd easily get 300mil+. Looks like I have a new rival for this game :P
I wish I didn't throw that away that good run I had at the last meetup when I thought Bobby needed to work on the cab

Unfortunately I won't really have time to sit down with the game until school gets out, but once I work out a few problem areas and practice the final boss then a 1CC should be in short order.
And yeah, I wondered at first why you just threw that run away - I thought you were just so excited to play DFK :P

Also, it looks like I have a duplicate entry on the bottom of the scoreboard.

Really enjoying this game so far. Still no good at it, but after my best-yet run I figured I'd post my score. I've been stuck at stage 3 all week, but finally got past it (without having practiced stage 4 ever!).

Seseri Black Label
Anesthetize - 392,475,721 - Stage 5 Boss

I hope to improve on this soon.

Seseri- Black Label
Phoenixma- 950,685,328- All

I really want to break a billion on this, but it'll take some more work. This was my 3rd 1cc of this mode.

Also,

Tateha- Arrange
Phoenixma- 2,633,529,511 - All (99 * 99)

Really should improve this sometime as I completely screwed up a few parts. Also need to include more Zetsushikai.

Asagi- Omake!
Phoenixma- 1,051,866,010 - All

Really need to learn how the scoring works in this mode as it seems like a fun mode to score in. But then so are Black Label and Arrange. Not good enough at White Label yet.

This is one of those runs where I do so great in the beginning, I get all nervous and do much worse than usual in the later parts and end up bombing the last boss' last phase like crazy with one life left. Oh well glad to have beaten my old hs after not playing it for the longest time.

You still watching this thread GP? I can takeover for you if you want, even as hardly anyone plays this game anymore.

Threw a few credits in for the first time in a while, improved my score a little bit:

SPZ - 160,688,236 - Stage 6 - Ageha

Maybe I'll go for 200+ over the Easter break.

This game is so fucking great I don't even know where to begin. My current favorite after Futari. Fantastic port as well. (And it appears that both of my favorite games are cheap region-free releases.)

Ageha 360
moozooh - 61,870,837 - Stage 5

I can definitely reach stage 6... If you know how to dodge normal Seseri's attacks and have enough gems for kakusei, most of them are easier than Madara's phases 3 to 5 as far as actual dodging goes. Now how to deal with stage 6 is a whole another thing. That boss is damn scary.

Ageha Black Label
moozooh - 434,506,200 - Stage 6

Last pattern lol. Slowly getting the hang of the scoring system though, currently aiming for a 500+ million clear.

Thanks, I'll check it out! Would be fun to try 1CC'ing this beast. Would definitely be my hardest earned 1CC to date!
