Unable to get Arcade game to display correctly.

My friend is having difficulty getting Samurai Spirits 64 to display properly on his Hyper Neo Geo 64. Each time he turns it on there are interference lines covering things up. He tried cleaning the cart yet the problem persisted. Any idea what's wrong?

Pics? I assume he tried adjusting the monitor controls?

He said it's not the monitor, it displays fine for all other Hyper 64 games except this one.

Looks like it's an issue related to the game.
