Awesome!!
But who's going to beat these Predators now that Arnold is not around?!

Those characters in the film, look like wimps! LoL!

Lord, let's hope so.Is Danny Glover busy?
It's going to be a 100% fail. I've given up giving the benefit of the doubt to Hollywood ever regaining the former glory of these movie franchises, and Robert Rodriguez is massively overrated.Robert Rodriguez presents

And besides, Ahnold is going to be in a new film too. Probably not this one, but with his term as Governor almost up, he might find time to smash in some ugly...mother...FUCKER's faces too.

He's made a lot of shit but Planet Terror was cool, he did a great job on Sin City and I think Machete looks pretty awesome too.Skykid wrote:

Wait, I assume that you're talking about this Boss:PC Engine Fan X! wrote:Somebody at Capcom loved Predator so much that it was featured as a stage boss in the arcade PCB release of Three Wonders. Even 20th Century Fox film studio could've easily sued Capcom for this blantant Three Wonders ripoff of their Predator film IP with this unauthorized likeness/portrayal infringement and won with an army of legal experts but that didn't happen in the early 1990s. Eventually, Capcom snagged the exclusive rights to make the Aliens Vs. Predator CPS2 powered game and the rest is history.
Nowdays, folks gotta watch their asses when it comes to imagery infringement or cough up the lawyer fees + court costs + IP damages related to said copyright infringement violations.

You know you don't believe that shit. Stop playin'.Drum wrote:All men of honour and integrity agree. Predator is the perfect movie, whereas Aliens is merely half awesome and half retarded. Predator outstrips it in writing, characterisation, acting and effects. Aliens turned Alien into a blockbuster 80s action flick with flimsy attempts at subverting the form that received way too much attention, whereas Predator did all that and more, but received less attention because it is so subtly textured and layered.
I am mostly serious too.
Planet Terror I enjoyed, Sin City was appalling.Acid King wrote: He's made a lot of shit but Planet Terror was cool, he did a great job on Sin City and I think Machete looks pretty awesome too.

It's probably the best comic to movie adaptation ever done, so unless you have no appreciation for hardboiled fiction and character archetypes or film noir, there's no way it could be called appalling.Skykid wrote: Sin City was appalling.

I was a huge fan of Sin City the comic book since forever. I saw Rodriguez's tasteless, farcical version and wondered who you have to kill to get a director with a brain to do such things justice.Acid King wrote:It's probably the best comic to movie adaptation ever done, so unless you have no appreciation for hardboiled fiction and character archetypes or film noir, there's no way it could be called appalling.Skykid wrote: Sin City was appalling.

You do realize Frank Miller wrote and directed it alongside Rodriguez, right? He had a massive hand in it and for you grumble about "getting someone to do it justice" is just dumb.Skykid wrote:

It was a poor Sin City indeed.

Well aware of it and still absolutely perplexed as to why he allowed it to be released when it was missing so much of razor edge atmosphere and grit of his original works. A real shame.Acid King wrote:You do realize Frank Miller wrote and directed it alongside Rodriguez, right? I liked 3, but not really 4. I've said it before and I'll say it again: David Fincher is the most talented director to touch the series. He didn't have the best script in the world to work with.ST Dragon wrote: Personally I liked both Alien 3 & 4, but I wonder how good these prequels will be without Sigourney Weaver
I always took it that he was bullshiting about not being an android. His ear and half the back of his head is almost entirely off just before she takes the plunge, and he's still very lucid. And how is it that the real Bishop appears to Ripley at the end of Alien 3 and tries to convince her in giving him the Alien Queen, when he had actually died at the Predator pyramid in Antartica over 300 years before?!
