Explosions & Special Effect Graphics

Hi folks, I have been looking for some flashy explosions, laser beams and other special effects graphics. But haven't found much yet.

A am using Graphics & Sprites from other games and often cut them from screenshots made via emulator. But some explosions (like DoDonPachi) are too hard to cut all frames from the screenshots. That's why I was wondering if there aren't any good sources in the web.

So if any of you know a good place for explosions, special effects or other sprites please link them in this thread.
