This game looks actually rather shitty from the pictures. I don't like the modeling or whatever it is they are using for the graphics. Maybe the gameplay will make up for it...

Yeah, I thought this looked kind of lousy from the initial screens, but it's really looking like it could be good fun. The characters each have a ton of different attacks, and I'm really digging whole Vs. thing. That's usually the way I play coop anyway. Unless the demo is trash, I think this'll def be getting my money.

Looks like Orochi Shermie, along with Orochi himself near the end. Complete with KOF 97's "Rhythmic Hallucination" miniboss BGM. /oldschool KOF music geek.

Not really bothered about this title, but knowing Moss is involved is certainly a plus point, and it looks like a fun game either way.

At JP PSN/XBLA Marketplace? No? I'm excited for the game due the fact... that my favorite characters (maybe outside that slutty Mai) are in there haha and that.... RUGAL is a boss in there OH SHIT I so hate that guy aaaaaaaaaa. I'm gonna def. buy it when it's out in US/EU PSN, really. This looks great and... much better than KOF XII fun-wise.

I don't think a lot of people here realize that MOSS is essentially a bailout company for Seibu Kaihatsu employees. It's not just Raiden III and IV that most of them have developed.

I think the whole premise behind this game is pretty dumb, but if MOSS is behind it I bet it'll be a lot of fun.

Why would anyone want this anyway? it's essentially the same vertical scrollers you've been getting for years where there isn't level or enemy design at all. you could replace it with a touhou background and it'd be exacty the same shit.
Besides, Moss hasn't really done anything useful in years. they're just milking a dead franchise. in fact, with this they're taking a break from that to help someone else milk a dead franchise.

I'd say Raiden III was good, and people go more nuts over Raiden IV which I have not played

I don't think a franchise was ever really dead when you can successfully resurrect it after about a decade of radio silence (more if you exclude ports; also, not counting RF)

If they're doing another insanity dvd, it's probably 'cause they've done a few for Raiden/Moss before. I'm being optimistic about this game. The vs mode might be fun.

If this has Sky Stage, and a new game, I want it! Looks like it has a Dariua style level select. I really hope these games turn out well, I like playing shmups on handhelds.
