A pretty sloppy run all-around, nine misses (three lazy ones early on, six in the last stage). This was my first run after finally figuring out a strategy for the last boss, so I'm just happy it worked. As with every other boss, except Round 8's who can be virtually instant-killed, the trick is to perfectly integrate screen-clearing into damaging the boss. Just at twice the speed with half the wriggle room, which initially seemed insanely hard.

Since Gun.Smoke doesn't care about misses, I'm not too motivated to better this right now. A no-miss without (zzz) boss milking would probably net me a lower score. Oh well. The strafing action still rocks! If only there'd been a CPS2 sequel with Shock Troopers-style gore (and timed boss battles).
