I'm speechless.
If watching the trailer of the game
makes you feel a certain way
I would be very happy if
you would give the game a try

Old school prop kit from Blade Runner. It's got all the telltale signs of an 80's garage kit, (blue resin, tons of pinholes, huge seams, etc), but it'll be a blast to work on.

That Blade Runner prop gun looks great. Is it a Japanese garage kit btw? If you watch a few scenes from the BR film, you'll see that the actual gun prop that actor Harrison Ford uses has a few cool red colored LEDs mounted in place. Put some in for completeness along with a battery source & you're good to go. Are you going to paint it as well?

Makes me wonder what other weaponry that Blade Runners use in addition to their field-issued hand gun if it needed be? Perhaps a cool futuristic pump-action shotgun or full-auto compact machine gun for taking down them Replicant baddies (if more serious firepower is needed to stop 'em dead in their tracks)? If there was a sequel to the 1982 cult classic BR film, this key issue of new & better upgradeable weaponry would have to be addressed and conceptulized. Perhaps the golden formula past the four year lifespan for Replicants will be discovered after all...which would definitely change the entire operations of how Blade Runners work out in the field with their tactics, planning and "retirements".

No clue who made it to be honest, there's no indication on the box or instructions whatsoever. But yeah, going to add LEDs and paint it up. Lots of putty and sandpaper needed before that though.

Speaking of Blade Runner, you might be interested in this if you haven't seen it already:

An extremely sweet collection of Famicom games there. Especially that super-sexy Salamander cartridge.

Three of the Four 1966s posters from NBC - Man from UNCLE, I Spy, and Get Smart, missing Bonanza. $20 on ebay. Slightly damaged on the right side but nothing mounting it on the same color paper wont fix.

Nope, this is total replacement for my old tower which was around 6 years old (you can see the front of it in the upper-left of the photo). I've already got Photoshop up running.. granted, I need to purchase a new scanner since my old one uses serial ports and the Zino only has USB. And I'm going to pick up a USB HD Capture box so I can finally get back into capturing replays (you know, in something better than 480i through composite, which is what my old capture card was capable of).

Internals for the unit I are:
AMD Dual Core Athalon 1.8 Ghz
4 GB memory
250 GB harddrive
ATi Radeon 3200 Graphics Card (has both VGA and HDMI out)

A few nifty items acquired, recently.

Sony PVM-20N2U RGB monitor:

Image

Since my NEC XM29+ died, I picked this up on the cheap on the way back fro my small vacation. Very crisp picture, better than the XM29 had even. Smaller screen size, but I can live with that for now.

HP 2009m LCD monitor:

Image

Picked this up for a decent price. The aspect ratio is a tad odd, but for what I do it's not an issue. Very nice little LCD.

Micomsoft Xselect D4:

Image

This is a wonderful piece of gear, it's a selector box that can take component signals (and RGBs) and output them in RGB/VGA format very nicely. Once I build or purchase an H/V sync combiner I'll be set.

Rockman & Forte english repro cart:

I had this made up by electrochip, he did a fantastic job. The whole game is in english, the roms were burned from the best translation patch available.

hey kiken I use Hauppauge 1212 HD-PVR High Definition Personal Video Recorder and I'm extremely pleased. I capture in native 1080i and can capture anything from 360, wii, ps3 to anything on TV including hbo etc.

Yeah, that's the one I'm looking at picking up. It looks like it'll be good for my consoles that natively support component video (GC, PS2 and 360), but less than optimal for everything else. Sadly, no VGA in for the DC. A buddy of mine was having a lot of trouble trying to capture Saturn footage through S-Video on his... he'd get a couple of seconds of video and then the unit would just black screen. I also have to wonder what the upscaling lag is like.
