I was at the shooting festa thing, was in line to play Ketsui but then they called my number to go play Deathsmiles 2X. Went to go play that, and by the time I got back the line was too bloody long so I messed around with some other games before leaving. From what I saw on the screens it seemed like a good port, and I'm pretty sure that you couldn't mess around with scanline options or shit from the demo. I don't remember seeing the 5pb guy reachable during the event, Asada was on the floor tho and I requested that they port Ibara Kuro.
Oh man, that trailer is getting me more and more pumped....lack of HD is kind of a downer, but DOJBLEX really doesn't look bad on my 42" LCD, so I can deal with it. I just want to get my hands on this game after waiting so long
Indeed, I am really looking forward to this.
I also hope that they will include a 1-loop option (like in DOJ BL), but that´s probably not going to happen.
It would be sweet to fight doom after the stage 5 boss though...

Keep in mind that this was a feature of the original game and was available on the PCB.
There's nothing like that in Ketsui and thus no need for having this in the port.

I can´t see it coming either, sad but true, but it would be a cool feature you´ll have to admit that.
(it was just an expression of wishful-thinking anyways)

P.S.
I ♥ Ketsui
no getting a decent and 100% accurate port would be cool fuck the features .
From the little bit I've played, Ketsui is much more straight-forward, and that makes it easier to me than GaludaII, at least GaludaII white label. No mucking about with mode-switching and spending gold to blah, blah, blah. I love shmups that reward aggressive play (see Futari 1.5 Original and Esprade).
Ketsui's way easier, can be played for either score or survival, doesn't have a complicated scoring system and the balance in stage difficulty seems way more accurate.
Are we talking about first loop-only? I don't see how a two loop Ketsui playthrough can possibly be easier than six stages of Galuda II, especially the Ura loop.
