No, if I recall correctly, those are called STGs, or "Shooting Games"

Plenty of em in Japan, I have a couple of the Cave ones but in all honesty it's not really that fun playing them on a keypad.

I'm sure most mobile carriers have lots of "generic" shooters you can buy in their marketplaces.
