The Pre-order updates thread! (Region free crap welcome too)

Post by emphatic »

Please keep all pre-order discussions in here, so the threads dedicated to the actual games can satisfy the users who just want to read ACTUAL updates about the games themselves without having to scroll past all pointless crap cluttering those threads. This should keep the re-posting of news to a minimum as well.

I'll try to update the first post with relevant information about games currently in pre-order status.

Cave should be spanked for their LE policy. It's ridiculous how the wholesalers are treated with low quantities and stupid deadlines. The ESPGaluda II LE was a bitch to pre-order. The time frame for ordering was less than day on both PA and Amazon.jp. Just take Ketsui in comparison. 5pb might be a crappy company all over, but at least they succeed in offering the Ketsui LE to wholesales in a normal fashion, so everybody who's interested CAN actually pre-order it....

Otherwise nice thread. You can add the Senko no Ronde Duo release (both standard and LE) - should be late april as well.

You might want to pre-emptively add the US version of Illvelo in there - Amazon says April, but there's been no official announcement as of yet. Radirgy Noah might also go up there, though I forget offhand when that's supposed to be out.

Well, if this is supposed to be a thread to always bump up, maybe include the company releasing the games, differences between versions, and the first print bonus to be expected, if any.

Pre-ordering Pre-order status: Pre-ordered.

And yes, they're all (not) region free.

I'll try, but I won't loose sleep over it. It helps if I can copy/paste what people add to the thread though.

Illvelo=Rajirunogia isn't it??? I am a bit lost in milestone titles.
I lol the post title
Anyway I have all of the 360 shooters preordered, but I am not sure about the titles on the wii. Are they really playable??? I mean is the classic controller fully functional with them?
As for the LE of Duo it will contain a drama DVD. I just keep wondering why does G-Rev include such absurd extra, why they just don't include the OST of the game or a insanity DVD wich both are surely more usefull.
Shame on them.

I'm guessing Radirgy Noah, which has a release date on the 25th. Illvelo is already out in Japan.

Wow, really? Illvelo's gonna have a limited edition English release with drama CD? Source please.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Hi, I'm new here, just signed up when I found out that Espgaluda 2 was going to be region free! Great! I'm going to try to beat this game on 25 credits or less when I get it. I hope it's not too short this time though, shmups tend to be lacking in lastability with only five levels.
That said, I've always loved shmups all my life, ever since I used to play Sonic on the Megadrive, but I never thought to join the forum before today.

My Espgaluda region free LE edition is shipping from Play-Asia, and the current staus is 'order processing'. I'll check back to this thread daily to update you guys on any changes or otherwise, and I'm going to get all my friends to join too, they love shmups since I exposed them to Klonoa recently, and I'll get them to update you all up to the point when the game comes through the door and lands on the mat.

Does anyone know if Mushi Futari is going to be region free btw?

No, man. This is cutting edge reporting. Don't doubt my journalistic scoopaliciousness, or my Don King inspired mangling of English.

Oh man, I got a good laugh out of "Rajirunogia".
If you must insist on spelling it phonetically, it's Rajirugi Noa.

And Ilvelo (the US title is missing one 'l') getting a limited edition with a drama CD? Yeah, right. Do you really think think a game that's getting this kind of marketing is getting special treatment?

...Haha, that would be nice though. Limited edition—featuring non-shitty cover art plus the OST. I might actually buy that.

I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.

I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

Don't forget that first printings of ESPGALUDA II (both editions) come with a soundtrack CD - largely a duplicate of the previously-released OST, with some new tracks at the end.
