I was looking to get some RGB SCART cables for my consoles and was wondering if there is any difference between them all?? I can't find any genuine ones but there are plenty on ebay like this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/RGB-SCART-Video- ... 334ee74619
Are these just as good?? What are the differences? I also want to get SCART cables for SNES & Saturn.

Re: Aftermarket SCART cables ?
The official scart leads offered negligible improvements in Picture quality, but thats mainly to the varying degrees of quality from the after market ones. Some after market cables are just as good, some not so good.
Even if the cables aren't up to your expectations they are easily modded, grounded and such to give the best image quality possible.
For me personally I found the workmanship of the aftermarket cables to be of a lesser quality, but the actual Picture quality itself was unaffected.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
