Nope. The only Japanese shmup region free is Futari.

I've been playing this recently. It's all in Japanese, but it's not difficult to navigate.

Well, I own the game, and I'm saying it's not... so.

You won't understand some of the skill challenges at first, but there's information on this site covering them. I'd still say it's fairly import friendly.

Agreed, and it's a terrific port, imo. I may be forgetting some things because it's been about a year since I played it, but I had a blast with it.

But as Bullet says, the only good one is Futari

I think the point is that Futari is the only Japanese exclusive that's region free. There are plenty of multi-region JPN games which are region free, but I doubt that many people care about them.

It actually surprises me there are other exclusives - I didn't think Futari would be such a big deal if it weren't the only one. My mistake.

Good point was made though - as far as I've heard, it's the only Japanese exclusive game to not be locked to Japanese consoles. Is it really the only one out there?
