Meh. Pretty sick of the whole 'awkward comedy starring mclovin' type of movie. And the premise seems like a comedy version of Watchmen, although that seems like an insult to Watchmen.

The "comics got it wrong you don't need superpowers" bit made me groan. BATMAN. It's not like he's some obscure character that only comics geeks will know. The movie looks somewhat entertaining aside from that. If my friends go I'll go along, but I'm not going to actively seek out this movie.

Went to see that shit last night. I hadn't heard of it until my friend called and said, "Hey you're coming to see this movie with us at 9:55."

I thought it was going to be dumb as shit, but I hadn't hung out with any of them in a while, so I was like, ah, what the hell, I never go see movies anymore, much less on opening night.

The paid professional movie critics are entitled to their opinion of the latest films...however, it's up to you to view the film and decide if it was well worth your hard-earned cash and a couple hours of your time.

Would've been cool if a major movie studio got comedians Chevy Chase and John Candy together for a "Siskel & Ebert at the Movies" film parody back in the day. Pure comedy gold right there.

D/l'ed the Kick Ass movie trailer off of the USA region PSN site and liked what I saw. Sounds good enough to check it out at the local movie theater indeed.
