Rotated Pad Trouble for Sega Saturn

I recently rotated my monitor to play my Saturn shmup games via TATE mode. Unfortunately when playing "Shienryu" and "Battle Garrega" my control pad rotates aswell making it uncomfortable, and extremly confusing when playing. To those whom are unaware this option makes right and left, up and down, and vice versa. I was wondering if anyone knew how to reset these option so that I can have default directions on a tated screen whenever I play both these games. Thanks

New to this i see. Anyway unless the game you are playing has a "Tate" option in it's menu then yes your controls will be messed up. Games with tate options automatically re-orient the controller as well. Hope this helps

Battle Garegga should orient the controls correctly when you rotate the screen. I've set mine up that way before. Maybe there's a seperate setting for rotated controls vs. rotated display. I'll take a look when I get home, in case there's a setting to fiddle with.

Ok got it. On the menu, change the screen mode to "arcade" instead of "side".

I forgot this game loads with an EA logo, for some reason I find that funny.
