Looking for Psikyo replays/superplays

Post by crithit5000 »

Hi all, I might be working on a few web projects dealing with shooters in the near future and one of the first things I'd like to work on is Psikyo-type site with replays. I'm basically looking for any Psikyo game videos (preferably .avi or .wmv file types...no MAME inputs, please) of interest to throw on a site. If you have any and wish to have them published on a site (or hell, one that's already published on another site would be fine, too), throw me an email, PM, or post in this thread. Whatever works.

Thanks for reading this, hopefully something cool will come out of it.

Theres also an EXCELLENT Strikers1945 ALL(great)mills replay around, i think someone else mirrored it somewhere else, if you cant find it i could always reupload it to my webspace for a few days. Only 55 meg webspace you see.

I've got a ZG2 loop replay (19:35). 70mb, no audio. I don't have any webspace, though. Do you have soulseek?

I'd love to see a zero gunner 2 replay, too! A good place to upload files to allow people to freely download them is http://yousendit.com/. You can send any file up to 1GB to someone. There are no ads (if there are, then Firefox is blocking them) and the interface is totally clean and simple. You don't get spammed, either, when you enter in email addresses. Only drawback is that the link to download the file lasts for 7 days. However, anyone can download the file, not just the intended recipient, as long as the link to download the file is disseminated. Or just put in the Internet Archive for all to see! If I had any superplay videos, I'd gladly share it but I suck at most games.

YSI is way too slow for me to upload to. I've tried uploading something at about 60mb and it took hours and hours. It must've been uploading at 5kb/s. Maybe someone can snatch it from me on AIM or soulseek (preferably) and do that for me. :)

Yeah, sometimes Yousendit can be slow. Today, however, I uploaded 890MB through Yousendit and it took only 6 hours. Not bad. Although, I wanted to try the site as a means for my high school students to submit large powerpoint presentations to me. It was a class of about 15 students and the kids couldn't even get the page to load up that day. When they did, the upload speeds were incredibly slow even on a 100-megabit connection.
