DDP Campaign Version
DDP Campaign Version
I had the opportunity to download a DDP Campaign Version video and I found just some few differences from the standard DDP: it´s harder, there´s a pair of bar meters at the top of the screen, etc..
Does anybody have a list of all differences and also where these bars meters are used for?
Thanks

If I remember well it was the 1st prize of the DDP Saturn campaign in Japan.
Cave made a modified version of DoDonPachi for the event.
and The guy who win it [edit] was ZBL-NAI and he lend the arcade board to Namiki arcade (Tokyo).
now Namiki as shut their door last year, so I don't know if NAI picked up the board and placed it in another place.
[edit]
After a quick search on the web I can tell for sure...
...There was only 1 piece of this game in the world!
By the way the name of this game is : DoDonPachi Blue Label

The name IS actually DoDonpachi Campaign Version, and there is only one genuine board known to exist.
It was lent to the Try Tower amusement tower in Akihabara, and playable there in 2004. It must have been removed during fall of this year, because the Try Tower website listed it on 'shooter' floor at least until last september, and when I went to Tokyo in december it had been removed.
I've seen it called Blue Label, probably because the background on the title screen is blue as opposed to the red regular version, and because it is to DDP what Black Label is to DDPDOJ, only incredibly rarer.

Timing is odd sometimes, no? Was digging through a stack of shit (printed matter in this case) and came across an "Atlus Lineup" of some sorts. It had this ad in it
Looks like not only did the winner get the incredibly rare board (which they lable as 'arranged') but also a Control Box (supergun) and that official Atlus nameplate.

I also found this interesting japanese blog...
http://www.geocities.jp/shiwasutakashi/diary-003.htm
the guy did play the game in akihabara, and could take a picture of the notice board: telling that this board is the property of ZBL-NAI who lend this board to the arcade shop...
but the interesting point was that after his playing he found in akihabara a video tape of the superplay 1credit all for this special version!

You can get this superplay from Icarus' bittorrent tracker :lmn4096 wrote: but the interesting point was that after his playing he found in akihabara a video tape of the superplay 1credit all for this special version!
