Commando Man, and an ice themed robot master and apparently sports and computer themed robot masters as well described here.

Funny, Commando Man doesnt look much like Super Joe. Maybe there will be a hidden nod to the old Capcom game in there somewhere..

The whole DLC thing for MM9 was pure shenanigans.

I'll buy this. Good move Capcom, you know how to get my money.

Hopefully the charge shot and slide are available from the beginning this time. I didn't like the idea of paying $10 for what was essentially Mega Man 1.5 (and all that DLC on top of that). Mega Man 5 for Gameboy is still the best of the oldschool-style Mega Man games, imho.

I hope they get around to fixing some of the major problems with the MM series like the cheap difficulty. The only way I die during levels in a MM game is falling into holes or spikes because there's an energy drop every three enemies or so. They should make your life bar shorter so normal enemies are actually a threat, drastically reduce the number of energy drops, and remove half the spikes and holes. Cheap kills only kill you at the beginning, so once you know where all the spikes are you basically never die and levels become a chore to play. Then, the difficulty increases drastically at the bosses, you lose all your lives and are forced to replay levels.

To do that would require hordes of enemies or an extreme amount of guys with projectile shots - shooting poor slobs who bring knives to a gun fight is just too easy. And they all must only take a couple seconds to kill on average, or you end up with a slow slog like Darkwing Duck was. And really, life refills would have to go too.

Not that this would be a bad game - it just wouldn't be Mega Man.

In my head I can play a dystopian Mega Man game where he's worn down and tired of the endless fight, with throw backs to the early bosses such as Cut Man, Metal Man, etc, where the special weapons slowly recharge and you can assign them to other buttons so you don't have to constantly go to a menu or toggle button to change weapons, and an offensive dash - but this game will never exist unless I make it with my own cold bloody hands.

Modular Dystopian Robot Guy 1?
PSX Vita: Slightly more popular than Color TV-Game system. Almost as successful as the Wii U.

That sounds a lot like this game. And if you play Hard difficulty with no health upgrades and tanks, it becomes quite a challenge.

Were there any easier versions of 9? I didn't bother updating anything for it.

MM9 was already one of the easiest games in the classic series to begin with, it didn't need an easier mode lol

But no, there was no 'easy mode'.

Really? I can't even beat the damn game. I can only get to Wily's castle.

I'm not very good at MM I guess. Hell, I do better(much better) at Ghouls N' Ghosts.

Only thing resembling a challenge in MM is some of the bosses and the cheap kills. You pretty much have unlimited life with all the energy drops. Just practice a little more and you'll get 'em.

my thoughts as well. why don't they make another Megaman game that looks like MM7. I love the style of that game, but 8 is my all time favorite.
