Any fighting game fans going to the North East Championships in Philly this weekend? Figured there'd probably be a few folks from here showing up, as there's some overlap between stg and fighting game players. But yeah, I'll be playing Melty Blood and hopefully imbibing stupid amounts of alcohol, wanted to know if any other folks had similar plans...

Nah, s'all cool. I'm a middling player at best and I've always enjoyed it, so if you got the time definitely show up, it's always fun.

And UP burnt down in a raging fire, I hear it's reopening this month, though.

If I had my own copy of the game yet, I would. But I'm not gonna ask my roommate to let me steal his futari for a weekend. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a least one dude there who brought the game. There's always at least that one dude playing Touhou at these things, so Futari isn't a stretch...

I was thinking that if enough people from shmups were going, it'd be cool to have a shooter gathering of some sort there, but then I thought that it's fucking NEC and I'm going to play fightan games, so I dunno.
