Nice one yojo, this game is my favourite!

I do have score from PS2 version; here you go:

MJR 779'300 PS2

I've no recollection what stage it was on, probably the last one.

is this on default setting ?

I really like this game too; I'm happy to be able to play it nowadays with proper controls and arcade graphics after having gone through a lot of frustation when playing the Amiga port back in 89.

Yes, of course :)
And graphics look lovely when PS2 is plugged into an actual arcade cab.

So you're playing it in your cab using buttons to rotate instead of the analog stick ? interesting...

hum, you probably miss one digit, you are around 1.000.000, not 10.000.000

I'd like to watch some superplays but can't find any. If my memory is good, the DDP DOJ BL superplayer is one of the top Forgotten Worlds players.

I did it! I 1 cc'd the entire game :)

MJR - 2'252'800 - ALL [PS2, Normal]

Those arcadia scores are insane; I guess the only way to do it is to not buy any too expensive powerups, so all cash will be converted to zenny. But just completing the game on 1 credit is hard enough for me..

Thanks! I actually play in Mame, being the poor grad student that I am.

Ha ha, I'll have to give the Japanese version a try. I'm guessing the dress is represented by the lips icon in this video?

This in from gamefaqs board, MAWS, and many other sources:
According to many sources, if you buy the DRESS (lips icon) for $99,999 ZENNY in the very last shop, in the last stage (# 7) and replay the entire game without dying you will be greeted by the shop girl in all of her topless naked goodness.

Normally the shop girl is shown at the end of the game clothed, but if this trick is in fact true, she will be topless. I also heard that it only works in the Japanese version (Lost Worlds) and maybe only in certain board revisions. I think it could be true based on the description for the DRESS (lips icon) "upgrade".

Just wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this once and for all!
Woo hoo, next time I play, I play lost worlds with Mame! I have a new, nerdy goal! \o/

Bested! Take that :D

MJR - 3'194'100 - ALL [PS2, Normal]

I can take a photo too, if you need that.

By the way, you cannot play 2nd round on Forgotten Worlds, meaning that those arcadia scores were for Lost Worlds only.
Perhaps we need a different table for Lost Worlds, if anyone's interested to play that?

I don't think any version loops. At Marp, the top Lost Worlds player got about seven million; the game ended after Bios died.

And yeah, I'd be interested in a Lost Worlds table.

thanks!

If you noticed the story I posted, it noted that it may be only possible with certain revision(s) of the board.
This would make perfect urban legend, since I'm not sure if anyone knows how many revisions there are.

Maws lists two versions for lost world; normal version and old version. So I guess it would have be the old version.

UGO - Hard - 670,800 - ALL
It was a One-Life.
Not enough Zenny for the 1 million bonus in last stage.

How do you prioritize spending in order to afford the items at the end of the game? Just not buy anything?
