SEGASONIC the Hedgehog. Anyone have the PCB?

Post by robivy64 »

Just recently acquired this one myself, and I am wondering what your setup is since this requires a trackball. I have seen some Astro City trackball panels, but I am not sure if those are plug-and-play with the System 32 PCB.

Cool, I thought he had a setup. I wonder if the panel just plugs right into the PCB.

I see them on YJ on occasion, so now i'll have to pick one up.

Have a setup with a trackball panel from an Astro City. There is only 1 connector for the trackball that comes off of it.

Yeah some Rinkya user just scored an awesome deal on this PCB today (maybe it was you Rob?)

Anyway, the PCB I have (paid through the nose for) came with a hacked cable/connector and dual trackball Astro City panel. As Shou mentioned its a single connector for the trackballs (supports up to three!) If I'm not mistaken undamned also has this PCB and was building the trackball cable/connector so he probably has the pinout.

Here is mine. Good luck finding this panel.

No hacks, just a single connector from the panel to the System 32 mobo. I have the manual with the pinout if you need it but will need to go to my retro room to dig it up.

Pretty sure this thing has a suicide battery...

EDIT: Yes, it does.

Thanks for the heads up. Are you going to attempt a battery swap, or wire up a new battery in parallel?
