I can't honestly say they make me jump up and down with joy or anything, but both Radirgy and Karous are good for a blast every now and again.
Not much of a fan of Chaos Field, though...

You have to admit, though, what's with the presence of glasses girls in Milestone games? Some sort of author appeal?

I wonder if Milestone has ever considered digital distribution?

Slightly OT... I find it odd that MileStone still don't have a dedicated homepage for Radirgy Noa (beyond a header image), yet they've just posted an elaborate page set-up for their new fighting game Project Cerberus.

They all grew on me, even Chaos Field. It's MSC is currently the only Wii only/Console game I play regularly.

I like Milestone's games. Milestone came from former Compile employees, and I liked those games, so I figured I'd give MSC a try.

Looks like things got pushed back until next year (to release a shooter? :?). Not like anyone will care though.

I care. In fact, I'm quite disappointed. Why can't UFO stick to their release dates?
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Well be happy that its not cancelled yet for US release. You can still see it on UFO's website as coming soon. We all saw how delayed Ultimate Shooting Collection was so this should be no surprise.

I seem to recall that this exact thing happened with Ultimate Shooting Collection too, where nobody could find it for a while after release, and finally a week or so later the official date was announced to have been pushed back.

Nice to know it'll still be coming out (and will be coming out at a time where it won't be competing with--and inevitably losing to--Mushi Futari for my attention. Still, until people have actually seen a title in the wild, I always fear another O3 Radio Allergy situation.

I do enjoy Milestone's quirky approach to shooters (and love the music in their games), so I certainly don't mind waiting a bit more.

I couldn't agree more.

As a matter of fact: Chaos Field is my most hoped for game to have a sequel.

Apart from Under Defeat or ZG2, it's mine, too.

UFO's site barely has anything, but Amazon is now saying that February is the date...then again, they were wrong on the original one, so we'll have to see if this holds up.

They've got a neat little trailer up now. I'm guessing there was never any plan to release it in October.

I love the art style and music of milestone games, but hate the gameplay.

Holy fuck, I just saw the box art on Amazon and it makes the SNES Phalanx cover look good. I'm glad UFO brings these games over here, but both of their Milestone titles have covers that scream "don't buy me!"

So Amazon's sending out preorder info now. 2/2010, with a promo video.

I knew it was Milestone immediately.

That's not really a positive.

Stop the press! UFO updated the cover and removed JUST PLAY 4 FUN ... but it's still there.

I'd almost say that's worse. Now I'll have to see it when it's on the shelf.

Then again it's just as easy to turn the box around

Worst box art ever. On a similar note, I bought this the other day as it's down to 2000 yen, and am actually quite enjoying it. Took me about a week to clear, but the last boss timed out. He's a bit of an asshole.

I'm not sure how to feel about this, oddly enough. Sure, it's still bad boxart, but taking the JUST 4 FUN logo takes it from insultingly-super-bad, to just blandly-super bad.

...Or something like that.

How would you compare it to Radirgy or Karous?
