Swapping sticks' 'Autofire Panels'?

Post by spadgy »

So, I'm basically gutting my Saturn Virtua Stick (The low-profile black one with green buttons), and putting it in a new case with new stick and new buttons. All that I can do.

However, as the Saturn Virtua has an 'Auotfire Panel' (my term for the set of switches that let you set each individual button's autofire rate), I have three options.

1. Just remove the Autofire Panel (boring option!)
2. Cut a hole in the new casing (sensible option?)
3. I have an unused HRAP 2, so I could gut this and use it as the casing to put my Saturn stick guts into.

So, my question is about the third option...

THE QUESTION!

Should it be fairly simple to take the wiring from my Saturn's Autofire Panel, and attach it to the HRAP2's Autofire Panel? In short, I want to just want to be able to use the Autofire Panel already in the HRAP2 when that stick becomes my Saturn Stick.

Thanks!
