I'm going to be going to Brighton next weekend and as wondering if the arcade on the pier has anything left of interest.

Living a stonesthrow away, I can honestly say no, not really. There's plenty of current stuff - mainly gun games. Have a go on Razing Storm if you haven't already. Steer clear of some of the racing stuff (especially if they're trying to charge a wallet busting £2 a go.) They have that slightly older Sega commercial airline sim that I always find fun, and After Burner Climax.
Opposite the Odeon cinema at the foot of West Street (it's a big main street heading to the seafront) there's an Arcade with about six of the latest Midnight Tune machines linked up and a Rambo.
Nothing too special though.
Just up from the shore you'll find a block of flats opposite a big church, in there is an Egret 2 with Mushi Futari 1.5, Espgaluda 2, Battle Bakraid and... no wait, that's my place.
