I think this site will do as a replacement. Each game has fours screenshots, a quick description and a youtube video! (and of course download links)

Unfortunately, there's no link to the developer's homepage, and all downloads are rapidshare (yeah, that's the thing I hate most). But it's the most complete list, perhaps (including full version of Ether Vapor, RefleX, etc)

As there are links to full versions of such games (where the full version isn't free) there, links to the site will be deleted. The forum rules about no warez and such apply to doujin games as well.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

I just signed up here because of my sadness in seeing the Shoot the Core site shot down.
If no solution can be found to keep it alive/you don't want to/there's no material for it, would it be too much of you to ask if you could upload the complete site/html-files whatever, for archival purposes? (sendspace, e-mail or something?) How large is it?
First of all i'd use it as a portal of nostalgia into the offline database, and in the future see if there's some way I might be able to host it myself or get it hosted somewhere. I'm sure many people would be interested in that, and maybe one of us, if not yourself - which would of course be the ideal, will find some solution.

Best of luck regardless though!

It's GONE gone......as in not just un-viewable, but wiped out....the only way to see it now is google cache or screenshots people have of it ;)

Thanks for replying, but: Injustice!
Who are the webmasters? Moonpod? We could conjure up a mail storm, or gust at least, of unique, passionated e-mails, if nothing else. At least I would.

Well, they were gracious enough to host me for free for about 7 years, so I'm not about to complain

Don't know what happened in the end, but I'm cool with losing it.......only a small handfull said they miss it, so it wasn't making that much of an impact anyway....

Postman, can you PM me that running text hard copy version that you gave to Fudoh? It'll be good for the Xenocide project cause.

After months I added a table of contents on http://shmupthecore.blogspot.com/.
Do you think some more labels are needed before i update the blog with new entries ?

Stealthmarv - done. Haven't updated with the most current games, so anything in the last 2-3 weeks is missing.......ignore the number beside the names, that is for backup discs.......

It's dead again, and so is that blog. Does anyone take care of the PC Database still?
