I've gone on about this game in the past, but just thought i'd point out that this awesome platformer is out on the Virtual Console. FINALLY.
Here's a lovely review from IGN

Real under-rated gem is Pulseman. Hopefully this will see some more people giving it a go!
Re: Pulseman out on VC
This game seems to have suddenly got a surge in popularity in trading - I went from not finding any copies on eBay, and paying a bit too much for one, to suddenly finding a lot (also overpriced) on the 'Bay and two trades revolving around me and this game here in the Forum.
It looks like a nice complement to the SNES Sparkster. I say looks 'cuz I still haven't found the time to actually play the game
I'd better get on that.
Also, one thing the VC release will not give you is the amazing pinkish (you think it's faded on first sight, but it's really rather attractive) artwork with Pulseman presenting his fist towards the viewpoint of the artwork, pulsating with pointed 16-bit cover art rage / 'tude. Except good. I also doubt owners of the VC version will be able to see the somewhat lesser quality (but obviously Game Freak Pokeman-style) artwork. The leggy newscaster character alone sells this game I think. Some levels look a bit goofy (retro-hightech meaning lots of neon cubes) but again this is a trait shared with the SNES Sparkster. Overall a fine game to occupy anybody's limited Wii onboard flash memory ^_~
