last time caincain showed up at 6 in the morning but id prefer a little later than that.

im obviously flexible to people travelling from far away to show up at whatever time is convenient for them tho.

Damn I wish I could make it. Work has got me by the short hairs for at least another few months. I'll send over a cardboard cutout to pose at one of the cabs so at least I'll be there in spirit!

only from düsseldorf or frankfurt, which are both pretty much at the other end of the country...

There's pretty cheap busses as well, but who wants do do that as it's very uncomfortable? I took the bus to Berlin and back to Gothenburg back in 2005, and it was about 40€ then.

I`m already in training for the Ketsui challenge.

Due to a lot of work and BBQ Partys within the last few weeks I train it like under real shmupmeet
Conditions. Low Sleep, lot of food/Meat in the stomache, keep me awake via Cola, Red Bull & Sweets!

i could only find a bus connection that's like 110€ (incl. way back) which already seems decent.
So far this seems like the way to go, because the trip to robert garcia alone would cost like half the price.

It will definitely not be as comfortable as riding in the Garcia-van. IIRC, the tickets were cheaper to buy in Germany than in Sweden. You can't just google "Berlin to Gothenburg" +bus?

i rode with eurolines many times to rotterdam, they also go between gothenburg and berlin.

one way tickets seem to go for 674SEk (about €50).
the trip seems to take ~9h which isnt too bad if you can catch a night-coach.

while connections with ryanair are bad for germany theyre excellent for the UK, there are several daily flights to london and glasgow amongst a few..

I believe this to be what I used for my Berlin visit. Yes, the night-coach is OK, but unless you nab a seat in the back of the bus, it's rather back-breaking. But hey, that's a low price to pay for hanging out with us lot.
