Life-Force/Salamander-Rebirth sounds great for me.

I would include Konami in my prayers if they release the two Thundercross-games
and Xexex on the Wii ( or elsewhere ) . And how about Parodus rebirth ?

Didn't Konami make some kind of loli arcade shmup recently? I think it made it to the 360 in Japan. How'd it turn out?

Get a work and buy yourself a Wii SLACKER if you're a real arcade fan or fan of arcade games. Dammit man, give wii users a chance.

Haha, if they were to make Gradius 6, they would need to push it farther like 5 and bring some new innovative fun. So if you hate treasure games. All i can say it, you need to go to psychiatrist and take some pills. That should get rid of your aspergers.

While I DO AGREE they should make a sequel to Neo Contra or Gradius 5 treasure-style. Hey let's give Wii-users a chance for some arcade fun! Because dude, possibly we will get a sequel to Neo contra or Gradius 5 sooner or later.

What i want to say is. Let's give Wii users a chance to feel what we feel about arcade games and oldschool platformers jesus f` christ. If you guys can't be patient, it's your problem :P

The ReBirth games are awesome. You should buy them and support Konami with money rather than with angry forum posts.

Gradius Rebirth is pretty damn awesome. I'm like, 350th or something on the online ranking. Which is pretty terrible, but the game still occupies much of my (infrequent) gaming time.

I for one welcome the Rebirth of classic Konami properties.

Salamander ReBirth, nice. I still don't want a Wii (for now), but I'm glad to see that Konami is keeping their other franchises in mind with what they're releasing for WiiWare as of late.

Salamander portable for the PSP has XEXEX on it.

You could then plug the PSP into your TV with the appropriate cable and there you go.

The only problem is. M$ and Sony can't accept 2D games out of the water unless they're HD-fied :/ Megaman 9 was an exception but doubt they will get passed :P

Yh MS are jerks, they put god awful stuff on XBLA and yet great SHMUP likes these get denied. I just find it annoying that 360 hasn't got a true Gradius game, i know they have Optemidius but im talking of Gradius V or the fabled Gradius VI.

So, do you say this because Konami actually made a Gradius for 360, presented it to Microsoft, and was denied? Or is it rather that because game x isn't on system y it's the fault of Microsoft?

i like this ReBirth trend, to be honest I am quite surprised at it and hope it continues (only will if people keep buying them!) I haven't picked up Gradius yet but with this news I am tempted to. Definitely looking fwd to Contra if anything (though, owing to my lack of research, I am expecting it is not 2P simultaneous, which is a shame). But beggars can't be choosers, so F off.!

Im saying i find it odd XBLA doesnt have any sort of Gradius, we have Track & field from Konami........ the thing is MS said they wanted to cut down on faithful ports yet they then put R-Type Dimensions on XBLA.

They probably wouldn't have allowed Dimensions to be released without the fanced up graphics and camera tilting.
Feedback will set you free.

I'd be more excited if Konami did bother to bring the Rebirth titles to Europe.

People still believe this? Microsoft had no qualms about allowing Backbone to publish a bunch of Sega Arcade titles on XBLA with little to no additions(in fact all of these games are also available on the Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection retail release). I can't imagine why'd they turn down a port of Gradius-whatever.
