BG at #1! Wooooooohoooooooo! :D :D :D

Excellent, excellent list! Basically all killer, no filler.

Only one that doesn't deserve a top 25 slot is Dangun feveron, imo.

Garegga is too high
DDP does not belong above DOJ
APB? hahaha
ESPGaluda doesn't belong in the top 25, the Arranged version does (yes I see it's noted, they are quite different games in my opinion though)
Mushi is garbage
Ikaruga should be lower than Gradius V
Guwange above Progear and Dangun?
Drop Radiant Silvergun. It's overrated.
Why is Mars Matrix here?
Batsugun should be higher
No to Border Down
You guys haven't even played Futari

What is wrong with people

Only 11 Cave games? Come on, we can be less diverse than that.

If you group all Cave games as one game, then this is a pretty decent result!

R-Type Delta seems to be in free fall...

So why didn't you vote for it?

Dave K. should be excited to hear that a Raizing/8ing PCB game finally makes it to numero uno with Battle Garegga since he's an ardent Raizing/8ing fan to begin with. Holy shit! ^_~

It's always good to see DDP given second place honors. Without DDP, there wouldn't be a DDP-DOJ or DDP-DFK release for that matter. Gotta give credit where it's due. ^_~

To see Armed Police Batrider finally place in the Top 5 ranking is quite something considering that it's one of those exclusive arcade PCB releases that hasn't been eclipsed since then with it's wild and diverse cast of characters and hoverbike crafts. ^_~

Yeah, there's no other arcade PCB like the 6-button endowed USA region American Sammy Daioh PCB with it's crazy on the fly "mix 'n' match" primary and secondary weaponry at it's best. There's always a chance to vote for it in the upcoming 2010's Top 25 Shmups of All Time list. ^_~

Daioh Defense Force is a go! ^_~

No Salamander in the lists means it's rubbish!

And what the hell are Guwange, D. Feveron, Batsugun or ESP Ra.De doing there?????

Giga Wing owns all of them yet gets rated lower......

I know this is all personal but this is raizing my already high blood pressure... yuck.

Shiki 2 and Dragon Blaze are better than everything on this list, imo. Well, I haven't played Futari, but... Shiki 2's omission is enough already for me to hate this list.

I'm going to have to look to see who is putting the original Mushi on their list. That's just strange.

Esprade, Guwange, Dangun Feveron, Espgaluda, Mushi...? Utter silliness. I think this list is a complete joke.

very nice list...although a few im surprised to see....

kinda surprised futari was ranked so low, but probably chock that up to lack of exposure/not enough people played it.....next year will be a different story....deathsmiles will probably make it next year too with the port out now....

obviously glad to see ketsui in the top 5 8)

hopefully we can get an all cave list next year( yes i know there arent enough) and quit lying to ourselves

but i think its safe to say , that list proves that danmaku is taking over from the older styles of shmups....as if we didnt already know that

and i dont see how this list can be considered a joke....it was voted on by the members of this site...it represents the overall opinion of the voters....

the fact that older games have been overshadowed by newer and better releases is natural....such is progression

there are shmups, and then there is cave.....

Be real, it's more like 2-3.

Border Down should be replaced with Darius Gaiden because it isn't as ugly.
