Those 3 games make or break a meet for me now, in that order : Futari / Ketsui / DFK ! It's always great to meet people of course but I don't really enjoy playing any other games at meets anymore, except for the occasional DDP demonstration or something like that. Actually even DFK sort of bores me now, I don't find it very enjoyable unless you have time to sit a long time and learn the chains. But I can't get enough of Futari and Ketsui !

So if you come and bring one or two of them I'll be happy to come as well~!

I know I'd like to play Mushi Futari more, and it would be a good addition to the meet. Haven't played DFK yet, but I wouldn't say no to it.
I can show people how to play Night Raid, if anyone is interested, or if it still works

I'll book my stuffs in about a week or so, would much be happening on the friday before?
Also I'll be at Insert Coin 09, and a big meetup there sounds like a great idea!

If I can make it I'll bring my DFK, one less for Sven to worry about. I'd rather we weren't messing about on the pool table again, though. John knows us shmup types are going to be dropping money in Progear/Mushi/Muchi/Strikers, so can he be convinced to just give us an empty vertical for the day?

Sounds like the May date means we're going to get a really good turnout. And I'd love to finally play DFK, but Ketsui again or Futari would be great to see too.

I'm half tempted to use the meet as an excuse to buy myself a nice board, but chances are I'll have spent all my cash before I save enough!

And if we can't free-up a cab, of course I'll bring my supergun, and if we can sort a car, my TV would be happy to join us. It works lovely, but it's so tatty it wouldn't be the end of the world if Shooter Meet VII was its swan song.

Unfortunately, I'm out. The 1st of May is a holiday in Germany and, apparently, a lot of people want to visit London during their longer-than-usual-weekend. Thus, the flights are really expensive. I just can't afford them this time.

Hope you'll have a lot of fun, though. Be sure to take photos.

I'm probably not coming either unfortunately, because I'm going to another event in May in France that's a lot lot cheaper to reach for me, friends coming with me, lots of hardware and people as well (actually its pretty huge : StunFest 2009 in Rennes), so I probably can't invest in London so soon, although I will still look into the possibility.

Edit : well the trains are really expensive for that week end too, indeed.

Repeating the info from the general thread, I got the engineer to completely fix Pork last night, so its ready for the Fight...errr I mean Meet.

No can do for me too! Got offered a free trip to New York staying in a fancy hotel with almost everything paid for - I just can't say no to that opportunity. Believe me though, it was a tough decision to miss the meet.
