Zanac X Zanac.

Never really paid attention to the original Zanac, despite reading things about it on this site. Actually, I don't think I would've gotten into it at all had it not been for Zach Keene's obsessively detailed FAQ on the game that I found while randomly browsing. Obviously, the AI alone makes it a very special shooter. Yet with that and the deep gameplay mechanics it has, Zanac doesn't seem to have gotten enough recognition compared to others in the same genre.

Zanac Neo is fine too, even though it feels a little standard compared to the original.

Playing some G-Darius [in MAME, so it's slow].
I really suck at it. There's too much going on.

Playing Psyvariar in MAME, dear god it's slow. But, it's cool, namely because of the graze system. [I'm kind of cheating, because my machine's so slow...]

Did I mention it's slow? It's slower than G-Darius.
EDIT: If you kill the sound CPU emulation [it sucks anyway, no music + stuttery SFX], the speed goes up from 30-50% to 50-60%...

Several of the MAME new entries: Psyvariar Medium Unit, Psyvariar Revision and XII Stag. Ray Crisis is less interesting.

I've concentrated my efforts into Gradius IV lately... I'm going for the million, baby! MILLION OR BUST! (this requires beating the maoi stage in loop 2 hee hee hee) So far I've cleared it (the first loop) 4 times, I'm getting a little more consistent with that, and rockin' the HRAP2.

Playing Psyvariar Revision exclusively.

Really need to get LS32 mounting plates sorted - wiggling a JLF is boatloads of fun but much too imprecise.

Superb game, even if I am finding it tough.

More Psyvariar [Revision this time], and some XII Stag.
.130u1 is the best MAME release ever.

Dangun Feveron.

Level 3's gfx and music are so awesome, now that I can see them for more than 10 seconds...

I wish I didn't die with a bomb left though...

About to beat Einhänder.
It took me a long time to get hooked to it, but now I play this game at least once a day.

Playing Raiden Fighters and Raiden Fighters 2 in my free time.
Already beaten the RF2 western record, and working on recording a replay; also working on getting back up to scratch with RF1 via final stage practice, looking at a 51mil ALL tops (about 3mil better than when I still had the PCB, many years ago).
Might finish what I started with RFJ after that.

Blazing Star.

The ship from Pulstar is so much better for this game, but it's too slow... Sadly, the other ships don't have the awesome Force pod in front of it, but to make up for this, they have far better firepower.

Plus Alpha and Gradius IV (goal is to break a million points, but getting a bit worn out ^_^ )

There is no General Info / Tips available about Plus Alpha anywhere... but dang, the game is pretty cool.

...I'm currectly playing a hacked version of Darius Gaiden, where you start out in the 5th level (I think...it's the one with the burned down city with the boss "Crusty Hammer"). Also your ship shoots twice as fast than the regular version (No button tapping included!). I've also been playing some DoDonPachi and Carrier Air Wing.

Gradius on Konami Classics on the DS. Not only do I stink, but I'm seriously cramping up my hand.
