It's the original JP/EU title for ALCON. Older Toaplan shmup with Gradius style life bar.

I thought it looked like Rayforce. Here's an interesting one to pass the time.
Here's a hint: It's an early 90's arcade vert shooter.

Here's a new one. I think this one will be quite a bit easier. I just popped this pcb into my Egret II last night and I'm loving every second of it.
And thanks to those who recommended it to me.

Right!
Did you know it or was it just a guess?
The picture is from a beta version of Rendering Ranger where the main character looks like this. In the retail version he wears a helmet.

I thought Run 'n' Guns are ok too ?
But anyway 6 out of 10 stages are shmup-stages in this game.

Ah, I was wondering if the sprite had been altered. I was pretty sure about it from the unique looking weapon and the colors on his costume.
Pretty easy:

Yep. I always liked the Carrot Ship + Banana Blast combo.
(Still amazes me how much they managed to cram into that little shareware game.)

I don't think it was originally shareware. I used to play the demo a lot ages ago.
