- The higher the loop, the more points you get from enemies. The 4th loop is absolutely crazy in that regard, they give you way too much points. I started the loop with 28 millions and cleared it with 71 millions
- On the 3rd loop and onwards, the golden statues won't appear on that high speed stage anymore. Weapon pods appear instead.
Wow, distance seems to be the best way to score then in the game. How hard are the loops?
- The stage 5 boss doesn't time out. If somehow you can handle his attacks, then you can milk him forever and break the game
I noticed that the blocking platforms could be milked, but I had no idea the boss wouldn't time out. I can't imagine it would be worth it though, as it would take far too long to get a decent haul of points from him and its attacks are not easy enough to making lasting for an extended amount of time a pleasurable experience. The stage 6 boss on the other hand has a never ending stream of spam coming from both corridors which could be exploitable. Just surviving that boss normally is very hard though, I can't imagine staying alive for long enough to gain anything from it.
Seeing as the game scores so highly in the 4th loop, the only way to truly gain anything from milking would be to do it there I suppose. If the WR is slightly over 60 mil, that player definitely didn't do any milking and maybe didn't even go for a captured enemy instead of a speed-up.

I did a bit of practice last night and have a few tips:
-Switching to the orange laser (NOT the purple one, which appears to be the worst weapon in the game) for some levels is advisable. Stage 4 (first half) and the second half of stage 6 are made significantly easier this way. From what I've practiced in save states, some later levels are also easier using orange as well. You do need to switch back to blue however for bosses as orange does absolutely sod all damage to them. Oddly, most of stage 2 is easier with the green laser, but stage 2 is pretty easy anyway so whether you can be bothered with the switch is another matter.
-For the speed run stage 3, collecting any power up that isn't blue can seriously mess up your credit. Make sure you only pick up the blue power ups when they are flashing light blue as they will always have a fade to dark before they change to purple or flash again. Safety is the best way here and it is better to avoid a stack of power ups than dodge right through the middle of them collecting stars.
-If you are having trouble on the stage 4 boss, playing a patient avoidance game is the best way. 99% of deaths occur because he traps you at the bottom of the screen either with his claws, or the green 3 way shot catches you as you dodge to the side to get out of the way of his trap. Everytime you see him move slightly towards you just hit the speed up and move to the top corner of the screen until he comes back up. The 3 way shot also glows for a second before it comes out so you should never get trapped if you pay close attention to him.
