Raycrisis and R-Type II [got to level 2, and died 10 seconds in, lost all 3 lives there].
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Buncha stuff here and there, not dedicated to anything really right now, in terms of like 2hour practice sessions lol. Gradius, Gradius 2 (meh... 2nd stage is stupid, contra references aside), Gradius IV (finding it hard to replicate my 1cc D= ), Raiden (I don't really like it a lot, too be honest due to "FUCKING BITCHES!" deaths) Flying Shark (do like this though,) ESPrade (losing steam here...) and some other ones...

Or Nemesis 4, given all the MSX Nemesis references (James Burton, Venom, the year 6667, sounds, etc.)

Just came off an awesome run of Progear, but I panic bombed repeatedly in level 3 [It reminded me of fucking Mars Matrix -- level 2 is manageable, level 3 is psychopathic].

I just got done 1CCing Gradius Rebirth and I headed onto Gradius Galaxies that I bought a couple months ago. I'm playing it on my Gamecube GB Player and it looks awful. The shitty Gamecube controller doesn't do any favors for me either. I might move onto another Gradius game soon and I'm thinking of trying out Astro Tripper while I'm at it.

Has anybody else noticed any slowdown issues with this in MAME? I was playing it earlier and the game slowed down quite a bit in level 3. I don't remember this happening before. I'm on .129u5 at the moment.

The game frameskips pretty badly on my machine. I'm on .129, haven't tried with .130.

Also, playing some Dangun Feveron recently.

I have been playing Star Prince in Retro Game Challenge and a bit of Star Soldier NES.

From what Turrican has told me, James Burton was mentioned in some Japanese Gradius documentation outside of the MSX games. The first two MSX games were Gradius in Japan (the roms seem to have multiple languages and play with different titles depending on the language setting, as well) and the third Nemesis was called Gofer no Yabou Episode II in Japan.

Playing Cho Ren Sha. Every shmup I play, I die on level 3. This one's no exception.

Look on the bright side, there are even more people who die on level 2.

Currently playing Radirgy. Keeping that multiplier up in areas with minimal enemies is a pain.

Also, does Radirgy have a rank system of any sort?

Ikaruga. This also explains my signature.
(In fact I'm playing Ikaruga on XBLA, so I should probably write IkarugaLOL)
Alas, Ikaruga is going...

Undesired, unwanted them...
What makes them go?

I'm finally getting around to playing Star Soldier R (Wii) a lot. I never had a proper controller for this until a few months back and I'm just now getting around to using it with this game. I've been fiddling with 2 Minute Mode and I got my high score to 910,000. This game is damn addicting.

I must have been in a masochistic mood, because I just had a run through The Monkey King: The Legend Begins. Absolutely bloody awful, not least because all you get when you finish the game is a Game Over message.

Even though the game does blow ass, I still had some fun putting in my 1CC. Granted, I haven't played the thing since then but I still had fun with it.
