Touhou Seirensen ~ Undefined Fantastic Object

Post by lgb »

Please post scores for this game in the new high score thread. Thanks!

Image

Rules: 3 lives, slowdown rate must not be more than 5%.

Version 1.00b is recommended, and can be gotten here.

Notes:
- If you have uploaded your replay on gensokyo.org, link to the replay description page, and not the actual file. You'll know it's the description page if the URL has the word "download" and a number contained in it. You'll know if it's the replay file if the URL has the replay's filename contained in it.
- User "lite" in the score boards is myself; this is the name I use in the game's internal score boards. Honestly, I use that name because I feel like it, but "lite" and "lgb" relate to the same thing. If you would like to use the name you use in the internal score board here, feel free to do so.
- If a particular character/shot-type is missing a score board, one only needs to ask and they shall receive. Just post a score for that character/shot-type when doing so.

Okay, someone please explain how the UFO system works in this game. It's so confusing.

The patterns are pretty though. I think I like SanaeA the most at the moment.

Still working on a clear. I plan on having one posted sometime today.

Also, lgb, it's 'Undefined', not 'Unidentified'. :o

Awful score is awful, but it's still a clear.

Normal - Sanae-A
Momijitsuki - 53,125,190 - ALL D - 1.0%

It gets pretty easy if you focus on getting extends only.

EDIT:

No Lunatic score yet?

Guess I'll be the first. :P

Hard — Sanae-A
moozooh — 3 — 72,869,450 — 2.8%

Had two bombs left and two spellcards to clear, so it could have been an ALL, but meh. Wouldn't have exceeded 75 million, anyway.

Well, it's been so long since I've played anything Touhou at all. This can be my 'break from Cave' session.

Still, I wouldn't say I have talent. D:

MSH, the guy infamous for his slowdown-assisted replays of MoF and SA, has made a 485 million Lunatic clear. Apparenty it's also slowdown-assisted, but at least we can see how far the scores can go. It's a pretty well-made run strategically, but it's not optimal, and the player hasn't even farmed bosses for graze.

It's obvious that, if even 500 million isn't the limit for the first three stages, the full game will be in billions at least, most probably even higher than SA (its highest scores for respective difficulties, as you know, are 0.68 — 1.13 — 1.95 — 4.00 billion).

I know this message isn't worth taking up a post in this thread, but thank you for your continued effort in keeping the WRs up-to-date.

Here, this post isn't entirely useless now. 150M should be a good marker, lazing near the end.

Dear god, that was insane!

At least it gave me a better understanding of how scoring works. I've been destroying UFOs as soon as they reach 100%. I was doing it wrong. :p
