Possibly something along the lines of, "Help! RHE has trapped me in his basement and forced me to write music for his next game!"

Maybe a wink to all Last Hope haters...

But LH aside, this OST seems to be the best in a very long while.
Everything I heard so far seems awesome.

Now, I just wait for the game itself.

And people disliking LH for what it is, just don´t understand indeed or just have a different taste.

Yeah, it's pretty damn good.

Why don't you have your copy yet? Did you order it direct from Hucast.net? You should contact them and ask if it's been sent.
How do you know DHL is delivering it btw?
I know cause I contacted via email to know who the heck ships for hucast.net and they said its been delivered when I asked. I just don't see how its taking so long. hell I ordered a cd from europe a couple of days after and that has already arrived.

Pier Solar had a big delay because someone who worked on the game left, and didn't give the crew permission to use their work. As a result, they had to go back and redo what that person had done. I have a feeling DUX is being delayed for other reasons.
Just wanted to clear this up...
108 Stars: Lately the designer of our main characters, Zable Fahr, has left the team. He was also responsible for sprites and the soundtrack. It was truly a great loss for the project and threw us back quite a bit; he was a hard worker and invested hours and hours of work in the game. Thankfully we are free to use everything he has done to this point; I guess if we couldn't use the stuff former team members did we would never be able to finish.
From Sega-16 interview. They posted their progress a couple days ago, and said they were "moving toward that illustrious homestretch". (Excitement).[/quote]

Dunno if this has been communicated to everybody, but if you ordered the OST through Play-Asia (like I did) you'll have to wait for a while longer.

This apparently is due to some P-A policy and has nothing to do with the
makers/publishers.

I hate the wait as much as anybody, but I am sure it'll be alright in the end.

I'd like to know since DHL has gone under here in the states, what shipping company will be used from now on.

I knew DHL laid-off a bunch of people, but I hadn't heard of them folding altogether.

Well, there is UPS, FedEx and good ol' US Postal Service...which, incidentally seems to be the wisest choice IMO.

I'm still amazed that you've not gotten it yet...*PM'ing and emailing*

I'm waiting as well - still excited about the prospect of a new DC shmups this long after it's commercial demise.

When it comes out I will think I won a prize.. Then i'll think really hard and remember that I once ordered a game from hucast. By then the game will have 128 levels and 350 new enemies to kill, but my Dreamcast will have melted from global warming.

I'm pretty certain your order has been lost in mail, I can send you another soundtrack when you want. About another trailer, I'm not sure. The trailer available shows enough of the game but perhaps there's enough stuff left to show.

Why is it so hard to give a rough estimate of the release date when the game is apparently close to completion?

It's not hard to give a rough estimation, it's hard to give an exact release date. Rough estimation is within March, 2009. So, the game itself is finished to 99,9 percent but we have a small programm issue which is yet to be solved. This issue may be solved within a few days ot it takes slightly longer.

DUX does get an Dreamcast release via HUCAST.net on a physical disc around June/July [2008]
