So that's why I'd really like to know, and IGN's review was silent on that.
I don't think you should worry too much about it, Dave. I doubt you will see even a woman's behind or a bare breast, much less any sexual action. For the record, MGS and Parasite Eve were marked as having sexual content, but other than a couple of sexual insinuations which are way less raunchy than something you'd see on primetime TV (Meryl and some parts of her body), or Baywatch (Parasite Eve had a pregnant woman with nipple-less breasts, and less visible flesh than what Pamela Anderson and the girls used to show.), there was nothing to lose sleep about.
At this time, the definition of sexual content is so broad, even a simple mention of a woman's period is enough to make those nice, PC-centric folks at the ESRB to santiguate themselves in horror.

Very true about the ERSB! At any rate, the frame rate dips are barely noticeable from the footage I've seen. I don't mind the grainy look, either, I think it's part of the whole Grindhouse deal. I love rail gun shooters, so I'll probably pick this up.

I rented Umbrella Chronicles once and loved it. I've been putting off buying it until it the price lowers, but it still hasn't gotten to $40. Now this is coming out at $50 and I don't know if I should get it. I plan on having them both eventually, but I just don't know which one to get at the moment.
Of course, that's just an opinion. Always seeking netplay fans to play emulated arcade games with.
American society humors me. T&A make a game Adults Only but teenagers can fire head shots all day in a video game.
As for VC3, SEGA is not porting it because they're a bunch of dicks and there's no easy to port version (HotD collection are ports of the PC versions.) There's also no Wii port of HotD1 because they apparently lost the source code. What a bunch of morons.

Is it clear that HotD1 used a different engine from 2? Because if not I would think the code would be easy to reverse-engineer, and art could be extracted.
2 & 3 are a lot of fun on the Wii when you take the time to calibrate the IR properly.
I never played this game but i only hear good things. No idea why it went under the radar so much. It was early in the life of the chihiro it came out so maybe arcade ops could not afford it as much and thus not many people have played it making it passed over for a home port.
Virtua cop is ripe for a HD remake for one of the consoles. Virtua cop trilogy has a nice ring to it dont ya think
Yo hold off on buyin' this game. Just got it and there's a goddamn game braking glitch in the first level 3/4 through. Zombies get stuck behind the walls with no way to shoot through them, so they hang there indefinitely and you have no choice but to reset.
I'll hit back if this is just a fluke or friggin' save your money.
I would like to see a House of Dead 4 port as well, but there haven't been any Lindbergh ports yet, which makes me wonder if there ever will be. I would love to see After Burner Climax; I don't care how short the game is, Outrun 2 got a home port and that's not exactly a 60-hour game. But it was one of the reasons I got an XBOX.
Personally, I liked Virtua Cop 3 better then House of the Dead 4; the use of bullet-time was awesome, IMO. There were rumors that the Virtua Cop franchise was coming to the Wii, but so far, nothing.

A'ight. Played it through a few times. It only seems to have the possibility of locking up the game at the first stage, even if there are narrow doorways on later stages. But not totally sure. When you get to the hallway right before the elevator, if you wound a zombie in the background and off to the side, he can shuffle further to the side far enough to get trapped. The reason he can get trapped is because many of the AI zombies is set to just walk straight forward until it gets right next to the player, then it moves toward the center.
So no real foul. Call it a fluke. It's preventable, but that sucks we even gotta look out for that kinda shit.
But the worse thing is the spotty choppy loading. This happens throughout the game. As it's loading new sections of the stage or whatever, a frame stops for a partial second, really messing up your aim when you're trying to hit tiny powerup icons during a scrolling camera or maintain a long accuracy combo, which is the basis of the scoring system of the game.
This game woulda been fantastic if they polished it more and I didn't have to hear "fuck" literally every other sentence from the black guy like the writer was sixteen. The difficulty is jacked so you can bust it out with friends and get through the game in one sitting finally, unlike HotD 2&3. Stage select also. But there's an unlockable arcade mode later that ramps it up back to the super hard standard.
$50. I'm enjoying it. But as sad as this is to say, the House Dead 2&3 pack with its god awful story voice acting crap is actually a more polished, better working video game for people playing for score than this new one. I didn't think that was possible. Definitely rent Overkill or wait for a price drop. Even knowing what I know now, I would still buy this at full price, but I love the arcade L.gun games. So that's just me.
And yes, the grindhouse thing wasn't just a suckering marketing tactic. The style is kept up throughout the whole game and it is pretty hilarious. I guess think this game like Grindhouse's Planet Terror mixed with (and/or quality of) Dead Alive or that other title Europe calls it.
The music is also unexpectedly very good.
One more thing for purists. Reloading and firing speed are fixed time amounts now, not depending on the speed and skill of the player. That blows sorta, but you can buy gun mods to speed it up. You can carry and switch between 2 guns at any stage, but not dual wield as far as I know. The unlockables mention it, so who knows...

sex content: A dude peeing, ronchy one-liners, and no human T&A.
And yes, they put in bullet time powerups. Have fun with that...

That's exactly what I was thinking. They could have prefixed this with "Grindhouse:".
I just wish it wasn't for the Wii. I can't stand the low resolution. I was so excited a year ago to finally get my hands on a Wii. I tried hard to get past the fuzzy look on my TV and in the end gave up on it. Now the thing sits and collects dust next to the 360 and PS3.
I've never been one for graphics over gameplay, but I hate fuzzy pictures.
I bought a wii for my parents. they play it on their plasma with component cables. I thought it looked alright. never really noticed it being fuzzy. The games just didnt seem to come to life.
It would be nice to see these games come back on the bigger consoles. Ghost Squad and HOD 2/3 were great fun. Hopefully this delivers
Found another game-ender glitch. Stage 5 on Director's cut. Restarted 3 different times. No zombies would appear in the very beginning, so I'd be stuck staring at the field waiting to kill shit, but since nothing appeared, there's nothing to kill.
I restarted my wii and changed weapons from maxed autoshotgun and almost maxed assault rifle and that seemed to solve the problem.
Sorry, I was thinking in Spanglish. I meant the sign catholics do when they draw the cross symbol on their upper body with their hand. Forehead, chest, shoulder, other shoulder.
It seems like almost every game nowadays needs a patch for major bugs after release. Whatever the hell happend to QA? This game is also like what 40 minutes on-rail shooting? how hard can it be to keep it from having game-locking freezes and awkward pauses during gameplay? Jeezus.

Kind of thought so. Thanks for the explanation.
Also, the reward for shooting "gangsta style" should be a hot cartridge case in the eye.

SPOILER WARNING:
The last boss is actually a naked mutated giant 80 year old woman and yes, you can see her bare breasts - still not a very tempting experience I'm afraid

Just cleared the game yesterday, history mode. I sincerely hope it is harder in director's cut. Is that just me or bosses attack you once in every 10 seconds ?!?
Also, why the f- (Isaac...) did the screw the ending up like that ? Story just falls apart from the 6th film, takes a completely different route and is not funny.
