Just got this game a couple of days ago (thx gmw).

Any tips on how to get the stage 3 1up consistantly? (read a guide on how to do it in the strategy forum, but I've only managed to get it to appear once

)

If you want to get that 1up at the end of stage 3, then make sure you've got some green gems as you're coming up to it, switch to kakusei mode (slow motion) and blast the crap out of it and it will appear. If you shoot it in normal mode, or red kakusei mode then it won't appear.

Awww shit, son! I tated my TV after playing for weeks in yoko. The first run through I got to the first form of the last boss and choked... second time through I died in the middle of 5-2 but wound up with 2 million more points. Hopefully I'll be able to clear it in another week or so. My high score table looks weird. 22... 20... 18... 16....

Shitty score. Probably my worst score runs for stages 1-2 just from choking, not from playing it safe. I'm playing today and can't get past stage 3 to save my life. Horseshit.

I had a new score last week, but it was so nominal it wouldn't have moved me up at all so i never submitted it. Chances are I won't move up anymore til I clear it.

Yep, sure are. I just popped this in after not playing it for weeks. Did another 1CC... but missed my high score by 500,000 points. The shame of it? I made two REALLY dumb fuck ups on stage 3 mid boss in kakusei ridding me of my guard barrier and probably a million or two points. Then died not once but twice on stage 4. I went into stage 5 with only one extra remain, and somehow pulled it off.

I can't make more than 3 mi (usually 2.7-2.9) on first stage. Irritating.
