Raiden 3 PS2 version question

I have got an unmodded UK PS2, and I really wanna get hold of Raiden 3, but it seems pretty hard to find in the UK.

Does anyone know if I import a French/German version, will it

a) work on my PS2
b) be in English

?

Failing that, is there anywhere in the UK I can pick it up?

your best bet in the uk is to go to gamestation or game and check out all the preowned ps2 games.you should find it there.

PAL is PAL, so it'll work just fine. And I doubt PAL releases in other countries replaced the in-game text or there might be an option to use other languages. The manual will probably have additional languages in there, including english, but that's it.

If you can't find it locally, there are few used copies of it on amazon.co.uk, but they're a bit pricey. I've seen the game locally here for ~34 GBP new.
