Pulstar on the PSP and alternating w/ Silver Surfer on the Yobo FC Twin (TV). I also use a pelican SNES pad w/ rapid fire, but I only use it when my wrist and thumb get tired.

Just a lot of experimenting w/ Pulstar - trying out new weapons. I play on the bus on the way to work...and wherever else. I think I'm training to get back into it properly.

Silver Surfer is brutal; it's just as physically demanding as it is a mental taxation. You need patience to play this game.

Does the lack of a 2nd stick affect those a lot, or do they still control ok?
I've been playing the PS3 versions a fair bit. Managed to get 100% of the trophies on SSHD - 'Late Boomer' and 'Shock and Awe' took some doing. Been trying to work my way up the leaderboards on the various modes - I think my best positions are on some of the time attack modes, but I'm still a long way off the top...

Also played Shikigami no Shiro II on the DC. Need to play this more. Just scraped past 1 billion for now.

I've been playing lots of everyday shooter as well... Very relaxing. Also just picked up red star which I am stokeddd to play finally. But yeah, I was wondering if Super Stardust is worth the purchase...

Played some Raiden II and Aero Fighters at a flea market arcade.

Painful reminders of how old school shmups are not easy. :?

Massive hitboxes for the lose.

Giving my HRAP2 some face time 'cause the down arrow on my Dualshock pad is a bit unresponsive.

With that said, I'm working on the 2nd loop of Gradius IV but I'm doing various runs here and there to figure out what my next shmup should be to play :) DDP:DOJ, (1cc ESPGaluda?), Raiden III, In the Hunt...

Aiming for the 2nd spot on the boards for Gradius IV.

R-Type II, and I hate the first level boss. I panic too easily.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Gradius III

It's wonderful to have a day off! :)
