Anyone picked this up yet? I was a big GNR fan when I was kid, but I've heard that this is a let down
Hope someone can advise to the contrary. I have heard the title track and I thought it was awesome!

havent heard the album but the new single is so shite they even stopped playing it on the radio..

I used to love GNR as well, but that new single is total crap.

I am a fan of old GNR but anyone who expected this new album to be good has to be a little naive. I had no faith from the get-go and of course it came out like crap.

I think it is a pretty good album. Not on par with the Use Your Illusion s, sure, but it has some solid songs. Although I'd not hesitate to chop off "Riad and the Bedouins"...

Hmm, I'm trying to be optimistic about this but it's tough. Which track is the new single? I haven't heard it I don't think.

All i have heard is one song they played on the radio and i thought it was horrible. I got to admit though that i didnt even like the use your illusion albums. Appitite for Destruction is the last good thing anyone from GnR ever did IMO.

Did you ever listen to Slash's Snakepit? Their first album was amazing imo, easily the best thing Slash has done since Appetite;
