PSN Shmups - Japan

Here are pictures of the registration screens in English to guide you in setting up a Japanese PSN account. Eventually Sony will change the layout and this will not be much help.

First create a new user and set up anew account. Once you choose Japan on the first screen everything will be in Japanese.







the next screen is the address screen, and it is laid out differently than the English. I just put a three digit number in the top field and junk in the rest.

after that just continue through with the choice on the bottom right of each screen.

I didn't want to wait on shipping for a PSN number, so I used these guys (they email the number):

As for SHMUPS they go for cheaper on the Honk Kong PSN, for about 33 bucks buys you 200 HKD on Play Asia you can get 6 SHMUPS on the Asian PSN compared about 2 on the Japanese PSN,
