Was browsing the net and stumbled upon a cool NDS accessory that turns any first-gen DS, DS-lite or DSi into a fully functional TV.
Here's the official site that gives more info about it:

Apparently, it is an official 1st-party Japanese NDS accessory for use in Japan at the current time with a price tag of 6,800 yen and a street release date of 11/20/2007. Sadly, Nintendo of America hasn't officially distributed it for the USA NDS market user base.
With the upcoming conversion to all-digital TV broadcast set on February 17th, 2008 for the entire USA region, it seems that this particular WanSeg TV Turner DS device will be rendered useless (unless a RF input or composite A/V inputs are incorporated into it to use with the digital TV convertor boxes for the USA region WanSeg production models). Then off-the-air reception wouldn't be a problem after that particular date. ^_~
Does anyone own one of these cool WanSeg TV turners on their DS/DSlite/DSi handhelds and how is the reception on it?
You might recall when NEC first released it's Turbo Vision TV Turner Adapter for the NEC TurboExpress handheld. It came with a MSRP of $99.99 USD back in 1991. Only certain select markets in the USA sold it for the pricey $299.99 TE back in the day. It does have a mini stereo input jack to get both composite video and mono sound into the TE through the use of the NEC TV turner adapter. Interesting but very pricey little accessory for it's time. I've managed to get video content piped from a Supergun setup into my TE and it works like a charm. ^_~
PC Engine Fan X! ^_~
How good is the Nintendo WanSeg TV turner for NDS?
