There's already a Radiant Silvergun topic, but since ben.shinobi isn't maintaining a table in that topic I'm going to lock it in favor of this one. Might want to grab the scores out of the other one though.

This thread has prompted me to improve my RS skills. I'll get back with a score some day.

Hey ben.shinobi, I love the work you've done with this game. I've watched all your videos, and I learned a lot from them. They're basically solid, but I thought I would tell you about one area where you could get better points. It's the first Golet twin in stage 2, right when he first appears. You use the green homing bullets, whatever they're called, and I see you getting one weapon 10,000 bonus from it. But if your vulcan is up to level 12 by then, which is when it starts shooting more than 4 bullets every other shot, you can use it to just barely get 3 10,000 bonuses before the first yellow enemies appear. After that, really careful work with the A+B weapon can get you two more 10,000 bonuses, and more careful work can ensure that you still get the 10,000 bonus with the A+C weapon once he flips over. This can all be done with seemingly less risk of dying than I saw in your video. The only trouble is, you would have to change some of your earlier routines to get the vulcan up to level 12 by that time. Regardless, I thought you would like to know.

Good Thinking !!!

With Golet 1 I use homing shot because I don't want to destroy the first 2 parts too fast. (because the next pattern is much more difficult)
T3-Wiz in arcade mode use homing shot (4 Weapon Bonus), homing plasma (1 WB) and lock-on (1 WB).
Be careful with saturn mode because weapons are not at the same level and you can't use exactly the same technic.

In fact I don't work on stage 2 because I play a lot on arcade mode and with stage 4.

I always sort of forget about arcade mode and the differences there just because I really only play in Saturn mode. Right now, though, I can't play at all, because I'm working in Japan for the summer, and I didn't want to risk taking my games with me. I've been craving RS for over 2 months now. When I get back, we might finally see some improvements in my scores.

I just had regionswitch installed on my saturn so I REALLY want to buy this game, but the prizes are getting ridiculous. Has anyone been looking on the ebay lately? they are askin about 200 for a cd, that's almost as much as the motherboard and RS cassette combined! I do have jamma cabinet, so for that prize I could as well save for the arcade version.

But if anyone knows where i can find Saturn version for reasonable prize please let me know..

EDIT: I read old radiant silvergun threads from trading station and realized how silly my question here was. It seems everyone else wants it for reasonable prize as well. It seems you are lucky if you can get it for $150..

I love so much this game !
The gameplay and the scoring are so fantastics for a shooting game.
For me, this is by far the best shoot'em up.
