You sort of sync your A button presses when attacking. Its easier if you learn the rhythm for each enemy by putting them to sleep, when they're sleeping you hear their "heartbeat"Jockel wrote:i didnt exactly understand it.szycag wrote:What does everybody think of the rhythm based combo system?

Is your game saving okay on your flash cart? I got mine to play just fine, but it doesn't want to save my games.FatCobra wrote:Downloaded the patch and applied the patch to a ROM I had lying around just for this purpose. Just started playing, but it looks like those guys did an awesome job, it looks very professional. Runs great on my M3 Real flash cart. (Good thing, because I feel emulating hand held games on an stationary system is just.....wrong).
Nintendo are such bastards for not releasing this game to the rest of the world.
I have played the game in Japanese up until the last chapter, and yeah, does seem like a parody of American policy. (That's why I love it and I'm an American). The transvestites would probably offend quite alot of people, but they didn't bother me that much. (One part did disturb me however, it's when Lucas gets PSI for the first time, it looks like Lucas is guying the guy a blowjob).szycag wrote:This is for the people who have already played through the game a bit, might be SPOILERS but no specifics really. Most of it you'll have derived by the first few chapters.
There's no doubt in my mind why NOA didn't bring this here. The mostly impossible to translate japanese puns and pop culture references are obviously a good enough excuse. But the plot seems like one huge critique of American foreign policy. I shouldn't have to list everything off, it should hit you in the face. Add to that the gang of drag queens protecting the world from chaos (yep you'll see those guys a lot...) westerners can't even stand Tingle in Zelda, try a whole flock of goosey trannies tied inseperably into the plot. No need going into the incredibly depressing opening chapter, really.
I could see a lot of people either being offended by this game (OMG Nintendo made an anti-capitalist pro-homogays cartoony kids game call Bill O'Reilly) or just hating it (you're just on that island the whole time, it tries too hard to be risque and dramatic, where's the scratch and sniff cards this game stinks)
