Ah ha-been playing Raiden III on PC but has anyone got any tips for configuring controllers to play double mode (where you control 2 ships with a single controller).
My gamepad's got 6 fire buttons and 2 shoulder buttons but it doesn't seem quite enough-I'm using d-pad + two buttons for red ship and shoulder buttons + four buttons for blue ship but I still don't seem to have enough hands to control both ships at the same time.
What do Raiden III double vets do then
RQ: Raiden III Double Mode PC Controller Configuration
I have a regular USB controller with four shoulder buttons, four face buttons and a d-pad (just like the original PSX controller). For double-playing in general, I use the d-pad plus left shoulder buttons for one ship, and the right face buttons (as a ghetto d-pad) and right shoulder buttons to control the other ship.
If you only have two shoulder buttons, I might suggest binding one of them to shoot for BOTH ships, and the other to bomb for one.
