BlazBlue/Taito TypeX2 hardware question

Post by Kenchan »

My friend is picking up a BlazBlue kit/cabinet, and had a few questions. BlazBlue runs in Hi-res, and they are possibly getting a Viewlix HD cab to go with it. He wanted to know if it runs in low/medium res, and if he can just pick up any candy cab and run it JAMMA. I'd assume you could, but I'd like to hear from someone who's actually had their hands on a Taito TypeX2 before I have him buy a kit he can't use.

The hardware has a 31Khz option and you can play it in a JAMMA cab with a JVS-JAMMA I/O

the way type-x works is different ports on the mobo output different signals (vga-15khz, DVI-31khz).. dunno for sure but from the photos ive seen the x2 looks the same atleast?
