Rob, you forgot Near Zero Scores. Also, you should totally go for a record negative score.

I think I need to figure out the basic game mechanics through high-scoring first. Still not sure about the launcher's movement after it's activated.
And not sure how to organize the near zero scores. The PS port doesn't seem to record them even though it has a chart. If you don't shoot anything up to the first boss and die with a perfect 0-point score, is that #1 until someone has a level 2 score of 0? Finishing the game with a few hundred points seems like a greater achievement towards that goal, and that would be below the level 1 score?

You have to clear the entire game on one credit to get into the near-zero ranking, so only scores of that sort should be done that way.
It isn't too hard to clear the game if you aren't playing for score too, it took me too long to understand where you get most of the points from.

All right, I was confused by the default chart full of level 1 scores. Near zero scores now accepted.

It's kind of like that but it's made by Takumi. Gotta try to keep the KILL-O-METER hot or cold.

Played it at London Casino arcade, the game actually worked for once. I got a new best on it too.
Smraedis - 2,158,790,020 - 4
Another feature of the game at Casino, is that there is no working bomb button!
This makes the game a lot harder, as there are some parts that are just too hard to dodge, and I always bomb.. so that's why I only made it to stage 4.

Picked Night Raid up again, my scoring is so inconsistent in this game..
Smraedis - 2,362,622,850 - 6
Would have beat the game if I had another bomb. Maybe next time

That's a very unusual opinion you have there, but congrats on being the shmups.org champ of Night Raid.
