Question about this Atrtiva Arcana Heart Full PCB...

Post by PC Engine Fan X! »

Here is an eBay auction for an Arcana Heart Full PCB:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Atrtiva-ARCANA-HEAR ... dZViewItem

Can it run on low-res 15.7 RGB monitor or will high-res 31kHz monitor have to be used? And could such a Sega Naomi Jamma Adapter be used to stepdown the resolution if it needed be?

And what is the usual going price for such Arcana Heart PCB or Arcana Heart Full PCB these days on YAJ?

Its 31khz VGA only. An I/O would do nothing to the resolution
10-15,000 Yen in Japan I think

Thanks for the 411 on that PCB, SuperPang. ^_~

So 31kHz PC monitor it is then.

Any of your local arcades in the UK have Arcana Heart or Arcana Heart Full, SuperPang?

None of my local arcades in the USA have that particular female fighting PCB title anyways.

they ported it to the ps2 (it actually got a us release) if you want to check it out before dropping all that coin. watching youtube videos it looked like a combo-fest. not really my speed. i was turned off to melty blood for the same reason.

Normal prices for an AH Full PCB is around 10,000y on Yahoo.jp. AH non-full go as low as 4,000y or so.

So what's the deal with the connectors... it looks like it has a JAMMA edge but only outputs video to VGA?

OK, that's it, gloves off, the next person who wants to actually degrade any video signal gets it. Seriously, aaaaaaaaaah!
You win, I can't take it anymore.

I imported the PS2 version. I have to say it's a pretty accurate conversion of the arcade game.
