NEWS: (Just a little experiment if this table is busy enough. And yeah - that's a UK date format you're going to have to deal with!)

11/11/10: clp is back with a better score!
23/05/10: clp returns with a new top score for Shooting type!
15/02/10: clp just takes the number one spot from Smraedis in shooting type!
18/08/09: This is amazing! Third Strike hits 140 million, but is aiming higher still! The goal is hitting between 149 and 169 million!
06/08/09: Third_Strike takes it even further, and your friend and mine, Smaredis steals first in Shooting type!
30/07/09: Third_Strike takes it!
29/07/09: Third_Strike is so close to that number one spot in Buzz!
22/07/09: Third_Strike climbs to a medal position for Buzz, and Enhasa enters at Buzz type number 5.
29/06/09: Third_Strike swoops into Buzz Type, straight in at number 4!
02/06/09: clp takes second in shooting type, and moozooh joins the fight with a pretty impressive first submission putting him number five for shooting type.
31/09/08: Kaiser strikes back, jumping one place to second position in Shooting Type, knocking smraedis, champion of many tables, down one place.
04/11/08: Kaiser is now top of the Shooting Type table. Congratulations. Now time for Sylph to get playing again!

Cool!

Shooting or Buzz type Carmen? Let me know and I'll put this score in - for now I used your older ones that specify type.

EDIT: KindGrind - is this Shooting or Buzz?

KindGrind - 9,414,200 - level 225 - STG stage 4

Sweet man, Psyvariar is reborn again :D Thanks for the new table. Thats a Shooting Type score.

By the way, I recommend using a code setup like Bloodflowers had it, much cleaner and easier to compare the eight  digit scores, haha.

That's a Shooting type score, so it doesn't quite cut it yet. I'll play some more in a few hours and get it up there :) Keep you posted.

Yeah - I tried! I can't get my table to be all neat and tidy like his. Spent my whole lunch time trying different techniques, including all kinds of Word cut and pasting, but this was the neatest I can get it. I look into the formatting tonight, or try re-entering the tables in another browser maybe. Odd because other tables I maintain are all lovely neat and some are like this.

Anyway - all new scores updated!

No worries KindGrind. I'm opening the tables up to a max of twenty unless anybody thinks it's a bad idea? The way I look at it, it hasn't got to a top 50 like some games here, and also, if the activity is further down the board now, at least it keeps things active and potentially attracts more people to have a go.

Thanks so much LGB! I'd just got as far as discovering I needed to use

Code: Select all

instead of [quote], but I was still having a nightmare working out the fine details!

EDIT - cutting and pasting your code has made it all clear. Before I was using code and the 'tab' button, but the spacing was still a little random. Now I get it!

Cool, that looks really neat. 20 is good I think.. after all, isn't that what the game's table is set at ? (may be 25, I have to check.) Also you may not want to count my name twice (11 & 13)

I want to play this game again... I don't think I'll have TATEable TV next semester though :(

Oops! So much effort formatting tables, linking to strategy guides and including images, I made an error on the fundemental part of the thread! Anyway, it's up to speed now and... 'rolling'!

Getting a bit better, I guess...

*Buzz*
KindGrind - 9,218,700 - level 89 - stage 4

I see the potential of buzzing now, especially when you make the cut to Hard. Still see deaths as rather random though.

Yes! Finally got my ALL (well... a level five ALL). I'd been getting to level five boss over and over on a no miss, no bomb, and when I do beat him I use a life and two bombs getting to him! Still beat him with just one bomb though...

Right - I'm off to Leipzig Games Convention, so no more updates until this Friday I'm afraid! I expect to come back to a load of new scores! Or at least one from you KindGrind!

Cheers Carmen! Of course I meant 'clear' rather than 'ALL' in my previous post, but I'm still really happy. Now for some Buzz Type action!

You might want to think about reformatting your "Name - Score - Level - Area" headers. Other than that, good work on setting up a new thread, glad people are still giving psy2 a go.
I tried playing again last week, but I was woefully out of practice, and didn't manage to hit stage 6. I do generally try to use only 1 bomb, no lives, to get to stage 6 though, so it's ever likely I'd not manage it! :)

I'm gonna put my replay of the gluon battle back up on the net for people to download soon, but I'll convert it from 3gp to avi so it's easier to view first. Stay tuned! :)

There you go!

Thanks for pointing it out. Like most time, I did that table on the sneak at work, so didn't spot that detail as I spied in every direction for encroaching employees!

I will try buzz type this weekend!

Oohyah! Psy 2's answer to Terminator returns! Nice score Kaiser.

Updated....

Kaiser is my nickname with some of my friends. Feels weird calling somebody else by that name!

New high score - nice one Kaiser - the top of the table is yours!

Updated!

EDIT: Oh - no worries if not, but it would be lovely to have a photo of the highest score on the thread! I'm not questioning your achievement - a pic would just be a nice addition to the thread.
