PS3 is the weakest of the sauce with only Super Stardust HD and Novastrike which really arent true sidescrolling shmups. Soldner-X still hasnt shown up on PS3 and is supposed to come out this year.
I tried out Soldner-X on the PC and was not a fan. PS3 also has 1942 Joint Strike but then again so does the 360.

I did buy Ikaruga for XBLA because I love the game and I had just sold my GC version. Did buy Super Metroid on the VC, too, because I can't go without it. The rest though?

I'd rather buy the real game - that I can sell once I'm done with. There'S nothing like playing the real cart with the original controller. Playing it emulated takes fun out of it, at least in my opinion.
I couldn't agree more. Nothing like playing the real original version - I feel like I've wasted my money when I have paid for a file. I can't hold it, I can't touch it - I prefer the real thing.

Same goes for music.

Anyway, I'm a long time lurker, finally decided to make a post.

It's also got Everyday Shooter, Blast Factor, Nucleus, and Dark Mist, and if you get on the Japanese PSN store you can get R-Types, R-Type Delta, and Einhander.

band of retards

"OH MY GOD! MICROSOFT IS THE DEVIL!"

please

shut the fuck up

I could care less if it's being played through a piece of turd with a controller hooked up to it

as long as the games are there (hello Ketsui . . . please don't be region locked!), my money will go towards a private island purchase by Mr Gates Enterprises and Associates

Your rant seems misplaced. There is barely any anti-MS sentiment in this thread.

If you would be happy playing games on a lump of shit, you'll have that choice as long as competition exists. No reason to STFU at people who would rather spend their money elsewhere.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how the next round of Gradius vs R-Type goes.
